1. Who we are
SoulSketch and the AstroLyfe mobile app (together, "AstroLyfe," "we," "us") are products of PayLoop Technology Group LLC. This policy explains what personal information we collect across the SoulSketch website (soulmate.astrolyfe.co) and the AstroLyfe mobile app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
By using SoulSketch or AstroLyfe, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Information we collect
Account information
Email address and a password (stored securely as a hash — we never see or store your password in plain text). If you sign in with an existing account in the mobile app, the same credentials apply there.
Birth and profile information
To generate an astrology reading that's actually about you, we ask for: your name, birth date, birth time (optional), birth location, gender, and any relationship or partner preferences you choose to share during the quiz. In the mobile app, you may also add a display name and an optional profile photo. None of this is required beyond what's needed to generate your reading — birth time and preference questions are optional and skipping them just means a less detailed result.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly and gives us back only a payment confirmation, a customer reference ID, and your subscription status, which we use to manage your account access.
Notification preferences
If you turn on daily reminders in the mobile app, the reminder is scheduled directly on your device by the operating system. As of today, this does not involve sending any data to our servers — it's a local, on-device notification, not a message we push from a server.
Usage and technical information
Like any website or app, our servers and hosting providers incidentally log technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, and request timestamps, for security and reliability purposes.
3. How we use your information
- To generate your astrology readings, birth chart, compatibility results, and AI portrait.
- To create and maintain your account, and to verify your subscription status.
- To process payments and send purchase-related emails (receipts, delivery updates).
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- To improve the product and understand how features are used.
We do not use your birth or quiz data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. AI-generated content
Your soulmate portrait and written readings are generated by sending the relevant birth and preference details to third-party AI providers: your portrait image is generated by fal.ai, and your written readings are generated by Venice AI and Novita AI. We do not send your email address, name, or payment information to any of these providers as part of that request; only the astrological and preference details needed to generate the content.
6. How long we keep information
We keep your account and reading data for as long as your account is active, so your readings remain available to you. If you delete your account — from the AstroLyfe app's Profile tab, or by emailing us — we permanently delete your account, birth profile, and generated reports. Some information may be retained longer where we're required to by law (for example, payment records for tax and accounting purposes) or where necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
7. Your rights and choices
- Access and correction — you can view and edit your birth profile at any time from the Profile tab in the app.
- Deletion — delete your account and all associated data from the app's Profile tab, or by emailing support@astrolyfe.co.
- Notifications — turn daily reminders on or off, and choose the time, from the Profile tab. You can also manage notification permissions in your device's system settings.
- Marketing emails — any marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA (California) — including the right to request a copy of your data or object to certain processing. Contact us and we'll respond to any such request.
8. Children's privacy
SoulSketch and AstroLyfe are not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections and hashed passwords — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
10. International users
Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country of residence. By using SoulSketch or AstroLyfe, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of SoulSketch or AstroLyfe after a change means you accept the updated policy.
